Today is my sixteenth birthday. The age I can marry. Most girls would have their groom selected or still be choosing. I have no one to choose from. No one is courting me. I guess no man in this world wants to marry a freak like me. Me. The only living creature without powers. While everyone else can move things without touching them, pick up cows with a single hand, see the future, and fly, I sit here in my room, in the highest tower of the castle, overlooking the plaza, wishing I had any one of their powers!
